So a majority of people suffer from canker sores and you know how painful they can be. Well here’s my story.
A little over 2 weeks ago I went to the dentist to get a ton of fillings. 2 days after I realized these painful sores in my mouth. After a week of suffering and being broke I found these canker covers online. I was desperate so decided to waste 10 bucks on a 6 pack.
When I first put it on I had put it on backwards because I misread the instructions. It hurt to take off and also took off some skin. I put another one on and ended up taking it off 2 hours later on accident. It didn’t help at all except for making my teeth extremely sensitive.
I can’t tell you how many reviews I read on the product and they all were not too helpful. I decided to try again, this time breaking one in half. I didn’t mess with it all so it lasted all night and ended up having to brush the rest off. I noticed a slight improvement but nothing to be stoked about. I used another one last night and after brushing it off this morning it had shrunk to half its size! I was so excited and hoping it would last. I’m trying again tonight in order to see if it really works. Let’s hope for the best.
A few things to consider:
1. It is really bulky and uncomfortable so wear it before bed.
2. It burns when you first put it on but its almost soothing.
3. It gets really goopy and disgusting so just a heads up.
4. Finally the thing that I hated was it made my teeth really sensitive and I had to take Motrin to make the pain subside.
Other than those few issues the product seems to work even if you needd to use multiple tabs. So… should you try the product? I say if your canker sores are to the point where they are affecting your daily life, give them a shot. I’m sure it cut my suffering down a few days!

Consumer Report
If I have any spelling errors I apologize, I’m writing my first blog entry via cell phone. Haha.
I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about how the quality of our purchases have gone down while the prices have gone up. A few examples would be with the Little Debbies snack cakes. Apparently they have decreased in size throughout the years and the price has gone up. Another caller mentioned fast food cups. The cups have gotten slimmer in order to cut back on costs, so if you leave it in your car for even a few hours it begins to leak, compared to a few years back when it could sit in your car for days. If any of you are ice cream fans, you will know the containers have gotten smaller, and the price has gone up. The radio host said it best, “we’re getting jipped.”
One callerdid get me thinking though. She is a single mother, and called to complain about laundry detergent. There are bottles that read, “New Condensed Formula”, which means you need to use less to get your clothing clean. CNN however, did a consumer report on these detergents and found there was absolutely no difference between the condensed formula and the regular detergent formula. I don’t know about you, but this ticks me off.
I personally don’t know if there is anything we can do to stop this or make it right. Bringing this to the attention of everyone is really all we can do, and we can also hope in the near future we can again be paying for quality.
